Abstract
Introduction Evidence based medicine (EBM) is proper, correct and intellectual use of the best
evidence in clinical decision making for every single patient care. Physicians need to instruction of
using clinical epidemiology subjects and familiarity with sources like Cochrane or Dare. Aim of
this research was assessing the knowledge and use of evidence based medicine among
physicians of some districts.
Methods: It was a cross-sectional study. The study included 245 general practitioners, specialists and
hospitals residents in 1390 in Iran. The data were collected using a questionnaire including
