Abstract
Leukemias are the most common malignancies of childhood. Acute lymphoblastic leukemia accounts for 77% of the cases. Eosinophilia is a rare finding in acute lymphoblastic leukemia. A five-years old boy was admitted to rule out appendicitis in surgical ward. There was leukocytosis with sever eosinophilia in complete blood count. Diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia was made after one month investigation and twice bone marrow aspiration and study of flow cytometry. Finally, the patient was transferred to oncology ward and standard protocol of treatment was started. Now the patient is in remission and under maintenance therapy. .
