Abstract

Puberty is a period that the children's body undergo kind of change so children change to puberty. Almost the average age for boy puberty is 12 years old. Psychologists said: puberty is eventful obliging for a good life. Methods & Materials: This research was conducted to evaluate the puberty among high school boy students in Nishabour in 1383. Data was collected with questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS. Results: The results of research showed that the average age of samples was 14.94 year, for change of voice 13.39, growth of hair on genital organs 13.21, and first autoeroticism 13.79. Most of the fathers, 34.2% were primary school graduates and the majority of the mothers, 35.9%, were illiterate. Fathers were mostly, 34.2%, semiskilled workers and 88.9% of the mothers were housewives. Confusion in studying had the highest frequency of 35.9% during puberty. And also anxiety had the frequency of 77.7%, sleeping disorders was about 69.2%, and psychiatric disorder was 76. 1 %. Discussion: Results showed that there is a significant difference between fathers and mothers education levels with the ages of puberty in boys (p<0.05). Also, there is a significant correlation between fathers and mothers job with anxiety, sleep disorder and bad education in boys (p<0.05). In the study, there is a significant correlation between other subjects and psychiatric disorder.
