Abstract

If we accept the teaching activity is purposeful and its aimisto promotelearning of persons so it must have a planned. Today, with the advancement of science in medical universities Usingparticipatory methodsandproblem-based, student-centered hademphasizes.According to manyexperts,roleplaying teaching method is a method By placingPersonsat thesimulated environments Caused Promotelearning process, critical thinkingandactiveinvolvementof the learnerwiththeteaching and interaction between teacher and student.Inthispaperwe discussvarious aspects ofrole playing teaching methods in various articles andtrying to keep upwithin-depth reviewof literature pay The requirements of this teaching method in medical universities. Methods: In this study, by using the key words role playing, medical education, medical universities, teaching methods and, articles were selected related studies from 1995 to 2014 Google scholar, pub med, Scopus databases and local and foreign journals were related to medical education, Based on the posed in This fields of education, the situation in this method were studied in different universities of medical sciences and finally 36 were studied. Results: The Research about the teaching method showed theteaching methodsareintegratedwithlearningstrategiessuch asproblem-basedlearningandcollaborative andmoretotheuseofthismethodforteachingaffectivedomainhas been changed therefore necessarythatfacultybecome familiarwithlearningstrategies.Studies the positive effects of the teaching role playing methods clinical and theoretical medical education are supported. Conclusion: Improving learning and teaching processneed to use different methods and combine multiple methods in teaching. Based on the studies reviewed recommended teachers to teach various skills in cognitive and functional domains used of these teaching methods
