Abstract
Assignment-based approach is a kind of communication teaching method that emphasizes the meaningful learning of a unit through assignments in a completely student-centered environment. Therefore, the purpose of the present study was to identify the optimal components and assumptions of task-based curriculum with respect to global experiences and theoretical foundations in nursing education. Materials & Methods: The present study is of practical purpose. The approach used is qualitative and synthetic. The statistical population of this study consisted of a collection of books, articles, theoretical foundations, and global experiences related to the subject of research specifically in the task-based curriculum. Of these, the sample size included all available resources and five volumes of targeted nursing master's books. These sources were used to investigate theories in the field because they were new. Results: By analyzing and integrating the findings, 9 main components: 1- Consonant learning, 2- Self- actualization, 3- Collective spirit, 4- Scientific exploration, 5- Learning in the field (Assisting in learning), 6- Defining values (Valuation), 7- Usage, Integration and Organization, 8- Internal conflict, 9- External conflict and 56 sub-components were extracted. Conclusion: The results show that among the sub-components derived from the analysis of themes derived from the available resources of nursing education, the most important component in the task- based curriculum and in the sub-component is The real scenario is clinical.
