Abstract
Inaging,ahostofmolecularandcellularchangesoccurwhichacceleratealterationandprogres-sionofinflammatorydiseases.Theseconditionsintheelderlypeoplecauseappearanceofaphenomenonwhichhasbeendenotedas“inflammaging”.Understandingthepathogenesisandfindingnewmethodsformanagementofinflammagingareessential.Purpose:Inthispaperwetriednotonlytoexplaininflammaginganditstreatmentswithconcentratingonmedicalplantsbuttocollectasufficientcollectionfanti-inflammatoryplantswithfocusingontheirmechanismofaction.Method:Inthisreviewpaper,bysearchinginindexingcites,desiredarticleswereobtainedsince1995byus-ingkeywordsofinflammation,inflammaging,inflammationpathophysiology,freeradicalsandinflammation,aginginflammation,inflammatorydisease,andplantsorherbalmedicineininflammation.Sections:Inadvancedagethegenerationoffreeradicalsincreasesincardiovascularsystem.Pathologicalin-flammationisalsoassociatedwithproductionofexcessfreeradicalsMoreimportantly,chronicinflammationmakesagedpeoplesusceptibletoage-relateddiseases.Somemedicinalplantshavebeenshownpromisingresultsininhibitionofinflammaging.Someothersectionssuchasinflammationandinflammagingincardio-vasculardiseases,oxidativestressincardiovascularcomplications,preventionandtreatmentstrategiesarepresented.Conclusion:Theresultsofpublishedpapersshowthatthesymptomsofseveralinflammatorydiseasescanbeinhibitedortreatedbyactiveingredientsfrommedicialplants
