Abstract
To the correct orientation of computer networks hospital information and its
approval by healthcare workers can lead to improve the quality of health care services, and reduce costs
related to it. The aim of this study was to collect and analyze the nurses' attitudes, motivations and
thoughts on the implementation of hospital information system and to determine the use of computerized
hospital information system in the process care and treatment of patients in the AmirAlmomenin and
Imam Khomeini hospitals of Zabol city in 2014-2015.
Materials & Methods: Sectional-descriptive study was conducted on 246 nurses. Because the numbers
of community were so low, the census method was used. The data collection tool was a questionnaire
whose validity was confirmed by four professors in this field and its reliability was assessed using
Cronbach's alpha coefficient. After collecting and entering data into the computer by spss statistical
software and descriptive and inferential methods was Spearman test.
Results: a direct and positive relationship between the two
variables impression of being useful information technology and easy to use the system of basic
components hospital Information Technology Acceptance Model, but the factors
influencing acceptance of information technology. (Pvalue <0.05 and R1 = 0.592 and R2 = 0.582), as
well as there was a significant positive correlation between the perception of usefulness and ease of use
of hospital information system. (Pvalue <0.05 and R1 = 0.477 and R2 = 0.5)
Conclusion: The results showed that nurses of hospitals of Zabol to accept hospital information system
have a good perspective and attitude, but due to high workload, long lines of patients, staff shortages,
inadequate training and lack of computer system, their perceived of usefulness, ease of use of this system
is the average level.
